    Brittle Cosmopolitanisms
This series of conversations explores the history, nature and practice of cosmopolitan solidarity in Nairobi and in Kenya. We will explore what it means to be a cosmopolitan in Kenya on various platforms. Cosmopolitan exercise is treated as a brittle liberational form. We look into cosmopolitan ways through which Kenyans, and others, in diverse platforms and texts, engage an interconnected world and negotiate entangled histories. What are the dominant thoughts and practices? Are they prone to destabilisations? Of what nature? Are there connections within different groups? How do they reach out to one another? What forms accentuate the differences or bridge differences?
