A series of installations presented at munyu during the Kilele, Music and Technology Summit, 2025.

->“To be in perpetual dawn” is an audio installation by @kihwa_endale and @sophiamitiku happening at the @munyu space till the 22nd. The installation is a call and response between environment - identity; immaterial - physical.
The sand markings draw reference from Ethiopian healing scrolls, traditional Korean motifs, and sand dunes. Materials used are organic and recycled, collected along the way from their recent visit to their home in Ethiopia and recycled material in Nairobi.

To be in perpetual dawn is a continuation of extensive projects that study migration, generational repair and traditional folklore.

->Resonant Scores is an immersive zine collection installation by Patrice. Each zine combines visual art, sound and touch shovvcasing a few scores and interpretations.

Each zine will feature unique artistic interpretations of the pieces.

->Welcome to Flower and nNje’s likkle play corner, an installation dubbed “The Sandpit” where you’re invited to use the vijiti, coconut shells and whatever you choose to bring, as toys.

Goddess, a DJ and producer who’s created a space where dance floors are transformed into sanctuaries of healing and self-expression.
Her journey began in 2022, driven by her passion for sound and dance as forms of liberation, where she blends electronic and experimental music to foster rich and emotional soundscapes. She curates intentional sets that have been celebrated for their profound liberating experiences owing to her passion for creating inclusive and freeing spaces.

Bizi Bingi, a Nairobi based poet and deejay. He is the host of The Clearing, a weekly radio show on calotropis.xyz that broadcasts live from The Mist. He has curated exhibitions as part of the now-defunct collective Naijographia (with Jepkorir Rose and Mbuthia Maina). His poems and essays have been published in Kwani?, Johannesburg Review of Books, Down River Road, Transnational Literature, and Jalada Review.

At the Producers Pod, producers can showcase their music in interactive pods, providing listeners with insight into the creative process. This platform enhances exposure, encourages collaboration. and allows real-time feedback, helping producers grow and refine their skills.

By highlighting local talent and cultural stories, ProducersPod strengthens Kenya’s presence in the global music scene, creating opportunities for long-term growth and fostering a dynamic, supportive creative community.
