  • Presenting a showcase of multi-media, multi-sensorial installation works from Martha Tesfamicael, June*, Wema Wachira, Wanini Kimemiah and Fataba Kakulatombo, the exhibition concludes an experimental workshop series led by Wanini and Fataba as "Ecotonal Proxemics".

"Ecotonal Proxemics is an embodied, sensorial framework for ecological thinking. Defining the ecotone as the space between our shared realities, we are interested in the close study, the proxemics, of how this touching is possible. Through collaborative experiments in workshop facilitation, artistic form, curation & exhibition-making we make known these ecotones.

‘Catchment for 1000 Waters’ is a meeting place for our discursive attempts at locating our ecotone, pathfinding in the ways of water."
